CellChek is in Beta phase.

CellChek is software for phones that is designed to help protect your child from cell phone dangers such as text bullying, grooming by adults, access to chat rooms and access to inappropriate material online.

CellChek software is installed on your childs phone and is controlled from your parent website account. It can be used on a range of modern phones - so your child can still enjoy the latest features like ringtones, games, cameras, mp3 players while you enjoy peace of mind.

CellChek is a free project, and the software and website will be available for no cost. If you would like to help out with Beta testing, please contact mike@cellchek.com and we will set up a testing account for you. Thanks :-)

To use CellChek you will require a phone that supports Symbian S60 2nd edition. Phones that support this are :

Nokia - Models N72, N70, N90, 3230, 6260, 6600, 6620, 6630, 6670, 6680, 6681, 6682, 7610
Panasonic - Models X800, X700
Samsung - Models SGH-Z600, SGH-D720, SGH-D730

To help speed up Beta testing we'd like to set up a testing group here in New Zealand. This would involve lending phones to people and parents who would like to support development of CellChek by doing some thorough testing. The phones that run CellChek are about $300 each and a test group of around 20-30 people would be ideal. So if you or your business would be interesting in helping sponsor this testing by lending us some phones, please get in contact with me.
